BURNING RAINBOW STUDIO

Located in downtown Victoria, BC, Burning Rainbow is an 1800 sf studio run by award winning producer/engineer Neil James Cooke-Dallin. Having grown up in the era of cassette 4-tracks, the focus is on helping artists reveal and highligh their unique sound through a dedication to recording engineering and trusting your ears more than your eyes in the production and arrangement process. Burning Rainbow was named in honour of Neil's love of dub music and the studio features two plate reverbs, several traditional concrete chamber verbs, including a 7 story stairwell, multiple racked spring reverbs, and a 56 channel Midas console. The studio offers artists access to a large collection of vintage amplifiers, synthesizers, acoustic instruments and outboard effects. We strive to make artists feel comfortable and creative in the studio environment.
